Brussels, March 2011 – Dr. Dopagne will give a series of conferences and lectures in Montreal on March 30-31 and April 1, on various topics of international public law.
At the Université de Montreal, he will give a lecture on embargo and economic countermeasures.
At Fraser Milner Casgrain, one of the leading Canadian law firms, he will give a conference on the immunities of States involved in international trade (immunity from jurisdiction of States assisting exporting companies, immunity from execution of States investing abroad through a sovereign fund).
At the Centre d’excellence sur l’Union européenne (Université de Montreal-McGill University), he will give a conference on the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy after the Lisbon Treaty.
At the Cercle Esteler (Wallonia-Quebec Business Club), he will give a seminar on democracy, revolution and the issue of the duality of government, in light of the situations in Ivory Coast and Libya.
